#160 You Matter Poem by Ezra Lawhn

#160 You Matter

Rating: 5.0

You matter beyond what you can do
You matter as much as them
You deserve the respect that you're due
You, they shouldn't condemn

You are a beauty
You have such a big heart
If they only care about abilities they're the worst kind of snooty
You deserve to be a part

This world usually looks down on you
They do it almost every day
It's nothing new
But I am here to say

That you matter beyond what you can do
I know it's hard to believe
But it's the most truthful kind of true
I know it because I'm one of you, you see
