171. Words Poem by Jaden Knight

171. Words

Rating: 5.0

They line your lips and vocal chords
waiting to be spoken
ready to be set free
for anyone to hear

Meaningless I love yous
pointless stories about your day
truth mixed in with lies
about your own life story
yet to be said

Though they may have power
they are not as strong without an action
even a promise is weak until it is kept
because until you do something to back them up
they will just be simply words

even a promise is weak until it is kept because until you do something to back them up they will just be simply words A beautiful poem about difference of words and actions because words remain meaningless until taken by action Well expressed Keep sharing Col Muhammad Khalid Khan

Most words often do have very little meaning, they mostly just fill the space between waking and sleeping. But there are time when words can be very powerful, usually when emotionally released without thought or care. Words can sometimes be powerful and painful.

Words do have power, even if they're not backed by action. When we hear words we're longing for, our minds create the action, and this can be very satisfying and comforting. Great poem.
