.2. Trucker Poem by David Threadgold

.2. Trucker

Could I have been a trucker?
In a lorry with twelve wheels
Driving through the country side
And knowing how it feels

I’d have to collect my trailer
All loaded up with wool
Which started off in Scotland?
And now going down to Hull

A truckers life's not easy, i suppose its ok loading wool! but next it might be potatoes, thats twenty tons to pull! you'll have to get a road map, its very easy to get lost and 'glow in the dark' jacket! thats an extra cost! brilliant David, thank for the laugh!
