A movie keeps playing in my mind
about a girl who's life was filled with sorrow
but survived each day because of the grace of one man
who seemed to see through her mask and insecurities
to the beautiful soul that was slowly fading away
Until one day he found love again inside big blue eyes
and suddenly saw no use for the fragile girl
so he leaves her behind without saying goodbye
not knowing that by doing so he had given her a death sentence
unable to see the deterioration of her light
and not there to save her when she finally ends.
