2222 Poem by Brian Stafford

In twenty two, twenty two,
What will all the people do,
Will they still text and tweet,
And still be out on the street,
Will there everyday objects,
be controlled by thoughts,
Will travel be autonomous,
Just soulless transport,
Will they ever get to meet,
What kind of things will they eat,
Will people all be chipped,
Like their cats and dogs,
Will the population still be exploding,
To the point of no return,
Will diseases old and new,
Be back on the attack,
Will the C word,
be a thing of the past;
Will technology be in decline,
Will it be mother natures time,
And whose turn will it be,
For the wars to rage,
And for famine to strike,
For the earth to shake,
And the seas to break,
In twenty two, twenty two,
What tune will they dance to.

An awesome poem with brill thought provoking questions asked! I really wonder if it will be Mother Nature or technology that will control and influence the world yes. God is the ultimate controller but our actions have reactions on the planet. Kudos. Plz do read and comment my newest poem too, titled, ' miraculous birds seen in sacred sanctuary'
