It's not enough to say I love you
10 or 15 times a day
you have to prove it and back it up
otherwise there is just no point

It's not enough to say you care
yet not worry about my well being
ignoring my health is costly in a way
being ill is no good to either of us

It's not enough to say you're always honest
and yet lie behind my back
you really should have not even tried
I saw through every single one

It is perfectly simple to do this right
any fool could make it work
no matter how hard you said you tried
your failed efforts were never good enough
