.3. At What Cost Poem by David Threadgold

.3. At What Cost

Rating: 5.0

Another young life
Was taken today
He’d fought for his country
In lands far away

Without second doubt
He lay down his life
Leaving back home
A young family and wife

Will he be remembered?
Another life lost
Or be a statistic
Put down as a cost
