.3. Foraging Poem by David Threadgold

.3. Foraging

Rating: 5.0

Out in the countryside
Fruits you could forage
So many berries
To go in your porridge

Trees in the hedgerows
With fruit to fill bellies
Green crunchy fruits
For those crab apple jellies

Lots of wild mushrooms
Your baskets could fill
But don’t mix with toadstools
For they make you ill

This made me smile. I guess it was pleasant picture painted. Also now I'm hungry; -) Great flow and rhyme. Excellent read as always
