.3. How Happy Poem by David Threadgold

.3. How Happy

How happy are they
Who simply exist
Take what they’re given
And never insist

Who live every day
And never seek more
Stay where they are
Not seek to explore

With glasses half empty
Never half full
Do they have a good life
Or is it quite dull?
