.3. Losing Touch Poem by David Threadgold

.3. Losing Touch

Rating: 5.0

Crunching creaking aching bones
Chronic clicks and cracks
Walking sounds like snapping twigs
While discs cause pain in backs

We’ve tried so many remedies
The doctor gave us pills
Physio didn’t help at all
We don’t like spray that chills

Wear and tear we’re told it is
We must have done too much
Now that we don’t walk so well
We’re slowly losing touch
