.3. Please Speak To Me Poem by David Threadgold

.3. Please Speak To Me

Rating: 5.0

When I use wheels
People speak to my chair
And talk to my carer
As if I’m not there

I only use wheels
When my legs let me down
Or if I get tired
On trips into town

So please speak to me
You may be surprised
I have all my senses
And still use my eyes
