.3. Soggy Snacks Poem by David Threadgold

.3. Soggy Snacks

Rating: 5.0

The fig rolls all went soggy
Rich tea all lost their crunch
The custard creams all melted
And came out in a bunch

The special garibaldi
Bought fresh for just a quid
The crispness was no longer there
Since barrels without lid

The cause of this disaster
Quite easy to avoid
Remember put the lid back on
Before my snacks destroyed

Loved it. It happens in our house too. Nothing worse than a soggy biccy. Great write. Love and hugs Ernestine XXX
