.3. Waste Not Poem by David Threadgold

.3. Waste Not

Our waste could feed a nation
Saving souls from mass starvation
All we need is motivation
To reduce such devastation

Little more than common sense
Pounds created saving pence
Changes made could be immense
Putting hunger in past tense

When will each of us all see?
Waste we save could be the key
All the food we waste should be
That which sets the starving free
