.3. Within My Eyes Poem by David Threadgold

.3. Within My Eyes

Rating: 5.0

Should you look deep into my eyes?
The picture you will see
A trusting sight without the lies
They have no place in me

Secrets I just will not hide
I’m like an open book
So when my eyes are open wide
Please come and take a look

My eyes I use for reading
I look down from above
You must know what you’re seeing
When my eyes show you my love

Lies...only create further problems in the end... They say that if you look into a person's eyes...you may see their soul. Great poem David! Hugs, Dee
