Don't let your sapphire eyes be blinded
by what you have seen in your life
not everything is as it looks
so let them shine clear and bright

Don't let your head be troubled
with useless clutter and junk
it blunts your mind's sharp edges
and makes it harder to think straight

Don't let your heart be burdened
by things that can never be
love will be there for you
and it will set you free

Don't let your soul become tortured
by what you have done in the past
ok so you may not be as pure as you wish to be
but that does not mean you are damped

Don't forget what I am saying to you
am telling you straight and true
it's how you are that brought you to me
and that's the reason I love you
