Please will you slice me?
Some small wholemeal bread
The baker was helpful
Of course “yes” he said

Please will you cut me?
Some ham without fat
The butcher as always
Of course I’ll do that

Please will you weigh me?
Eight ounces of Cheshire
The lady on cheeses
Of course under pressure

Please will you pack?
No way, I don’t do packing
The till girl was rude
I think she needs sacking
