.4. Don’t Take A Fence

Dear next-door neighbour
The one we like most
We’re sorry to hear
Your gate lost a post

Our St Bernard’s lead
For his size is immense
It caught on the post
As it pulled down your fence

We’ve tried to chastise him
But we’re rather fond
And he did leave the bits
In your backyard fishpond

So please when you fix it
Can you make it stronger?
Cos St Bernard’s still growing
And his leads getting longer
