.4. Erosion Poem by David Threadgold

.4. Erosion

Pounding the breakwater
Whipping up spray
Clouds of white water
The wind blows away

Waves for the surfers
To master and ride
Making the most
Of the incoming tide

Shingle beach shifting
Stones getting polished
Waves pounding cliffs
Until they get demolished

A powerful force
With both give and take
Changing the looks
A new coastline to make
