My gigantic pumpkin is lonely
He sits all alone every night
Nothing grows anywhere near him
Because he blocks out all the light
The other plants don’t get a look in
He drinks every dropp when it rains
Becoming somewhat drought resistant
Having tapped his roots into the mains
My runner beans all did a runner
Poor willow did nothing but weep
When pumpkin became slightly mobile
To eat compost straight from the heap
His greed is what made him so lonely
He shouldn’t have eaten the lot
And drinking too much spread his bottom
Now causing his body to rot
