.5. Send Me Poem by David Threadgold

.5. Send Me

Rating: 5.0

Send me smiles to make me happy
No frowns to make me sad
Send lots of cheerful laughter
And things to make me glad

Send me rain to help my garden grow
And bee’s for pollinations
Send sunshine and a shady place
For this year’s new creations

Send me fingers that are greener
And scents for all my blooms
Send senses to appreciate
The smell that fill my rooms

Send me lots of harmless pest controls
To chase away the bugs
Send even more stale beer
In pots for drunken slugs

Send me space to rest my weary bones
With walls to shield my crop
Send lots of satisfaction
And never let it stop
