533. Just Cut The Rope Poem by Jaden Knight

533. Just Cut The Rope

Just cut the rope and let me fall away
you can't hold on forever
I can't find the handholds I need
to secure myself again

Sever the strands before I dragged you down
it's a long way to fall
better I go than both of us
so you can carry on

Take your blade and slice the cord
what you waiting for
I haven't got a knife to do it myself
and the rocks aren't sharp enough to wear it away

It's obvious that I'm holding you back
when you should continue your climb
don't be hanging or descending with me
before your hands and picks slip
just cut the rope and let me fall away
