60 Seconds Till Your Life Will Change Forever. Poem by kaitlyn wells

60 Seconds Till Your Life Will Change Forever.

60.
I reach down and feel my pocket, also feeling my anger.
50.
I reach in my pocket and pull it out slowly.
40.
I start walking towards the cafeteria remembering what im about to do.
30.
I run.
20.
I stop in the hallway, pocketing my gun.
10.
I run into the cafeteria and pull it out.
9.
I look around at my screaming classmates, picking out my target.
8.
I find her and start toward her.
7.
I mumble something but I cant recall what is coming out of my mouth.
6.
I lift it toward her watching her scream.
5.
I laugh.
4.
I watch her cry feeling relief at what im going to do.
3.
I start pressing my finger on the trigger.
2.
I pause, looking at her once more.
1.
I shoot.
