A day to be immensely proud about
A day of ecstasy, patriotism and love for our Motherland
A day to remember the many valiant freedom-fighters and martyrs
A day to share our joy of freedom with the world at large
A day to realise the cost of our priceless freedom
A day to rededicate our lives for unity and integrity
A day to show our solidarity and capabilities
A day to weed out corruption and divisive tendencies
A day to make up our differences with neighbouring states
A day to realise the greatness of India and its rich heritage
A day to improve the security to all citizens and the nation
A day to ensure a better dole for the poor, downtrodden and destitute
A day to show our foes our military strength and indomitable courage
A day to think what we can do for our country
A day to live at peace and amity with the rest of the world
Jai Hind! Jai Bharat!
