THE VIRTUE OF NON-REPETITION

I like to love without traces
to sing without any echo
and just to be myself without
a name tag

To be lost without fear
To be a question without an answer

To be found again without my knowing it
To stay put in my chosen prison

To write a poem without a period
To be and just another speck to eternity

After
by Robert Browning

Take the cloak from his face, and at first
Let the corpse do its worst!

How he lies in his rights of a man!
Death has done all death can.
