'99 And Falling' Poem by joseph nez

'99 And Falling'

The essential nature of a home is walking
abandoning... no fault of their own
creeping with its caskets
wondering what happen.
I am the insignificant, insipid, indigenous spirits
I am the broken vessels of life, before you were
and your great fathers know
Has broken my love for her children
Her house of heart an empty hope and needing
the part of her human being
the sour survival
hunger with the mind
least to the affections in her will
My feelings are susceptible into her crying heart.
I thought for the moment that I had buried into the rolling grass lands
into the hearts of the prairies
the spirits of my fathers and his
Under the earth
holding the wounds of things, afar dreams.
And the essential nature of a home is walking
abandoning... no fault of their own
creeping with its caskets
wondering what happen.
My fathers will tell you, your visionary fantasies
the greed, your jealousy, now this rivalry
Appointed as brothers, like fire and water
you can't stand each other.
You have been elected...
an alliance for a common purpose, goodwill in strength and shelter
as a father would ensure do for his children
'what happen'
You have become to indigestible to accept and swallow
A spineless swayback of a spine
vaporing vultures circling around the center of life
sleeping about, ungracious giving and favors to and fro
with so call as friends, but never laid off brothers.
And the essential nature of a home is walking
abandoning... no fault of their own
creeping with its caskets
wondering what happen.
Now this avalanche of surrogate politics
hand in hand
greed and fraud without being suspicious
Supreme religiosity above all things, specious
surmounting your dreams, ascending to the top
listless to desire to listen to the call
that maybe one moment, just maybe
'forgiveness may never return to exist all'
