A Birthday Wish Poem by Morgan Michaels

A Birthday Wish

May your special day be sending you
Pleasures aplenty, troubles afew-
Do something reckless, do something new
Get a massage, or maybe a shampoo
Buy a new shirt and a necktie, too
Soak your feet in the morning dew
Smell the roses, sniff the rue
Forget which bills are coming due
Remember the good you did and do
And how many folks depend on you
The years you own are many, true,
But many's the more awaking you
