A Birthday Wish Poem by Thomas Plotz

A Birthday Wish

Hey Sis, It’s not hard to see
It’s a good way to be

Sitting now at the age of 41?
Almost half your life now done

But you have three wonderful German kids, and
Another beautiful girl, whose last name I have a
Hard time pronouncing

Friends and family around to keep you
Bound and tied
But deep inside, what dream or wish
May I do for you?

I didn’t want to give you an empty card, so
You’re getting this poem too

Now don’t be blue for you knew
It’s birthday time again
After a year’s travel around the sun
Another revolution is done, but
Additional one’s are to come, and
They will never be spent, then

Your memory will go on, continuously
In the faces, of your family’s
Blessed are the ones, who have more than, a solitary

Happy Birthday KJK
