A Caged Mice Poem by Alexander Foald

A Caged Mice

A pretentious shine from the moon
Conceived by the message of love
Brought to all the lovers inside this womb
Where magical act can turn into tragedy

Suppose the farther sun only knows how
To surrender her light and turn into glow
In the dark of devilish pride and joy of man,
Why not burn him to die, and flee the punishment?

I wonder how she claimed my love from me
Was it by beauty? Was it by trickery?
An act of man can make a world spin on its center
But the charm of woman can turn everything into disaster!

Yet she’s still reigning over my heart
Concludes my love into the palm of fate
Like a caged mice waiting for death to come
And the day will not see when I grab my freedom
