A Cruel Mother To Her Daughters Poem by Pushkar Bisht

A cruel mother
to her lovely daughters
never treat them decently.
Showing no respect and
affection towards them
makes them feel very miserable.
The mother looking very ugly,
and wearing no beautiful dress.
Suffering from asthma and
starts coughing all the times
till the daughters are disturbed.
Preparing no food for them
when they are leaving for their work.
Sweeping no floor with the broom-stick,
but stands wordlessly outside the room.
Having no conversation with any daughter,
but throwing dirty words on them.
She does not work but,
make her daughters work hard.
When their father comes back from work,
he gives her a good scolding for her doings.
She never atones on what she does,
but she feels proud of hurting her daughters.
God is keeping an eye on her
and will punish her severely in the end.
