A Dark Dull Night Poem by Furqan Asad

A Dark Dull Night

The night that is so dark and dull.
I see it from my eyes.
In a room where my love lays still in her sleep of peace.
I see her face.
So bright.
So beautiful.
Her eyes that lay to rest.
Her lips that are red as the eastern vien.
Her hairs that shine in the moon light.
O, i pity my thoughts.
I pity myself.
As im not with her.
Yet i see her in my dreams.
As i twist and turn in bed.
For love.
For care.
For admiration.
I can see her clearly like i see at dawn.
The face of love.
The true beauty.
That hold my my world in threads.
Of love and care and sympathy.
