A Delinquent? Poem by Natasha Foster

A Delinquent?

Rating: 3.5

Fall asleep crying,
Pass out drunk.
Keep on lying,
They call me 'Punk.'

Said my goodbyes
To Mom and Dad.
Had bloodshot eyes,
Barely a high school grad.

The system failed me,
Now I'm trapped here.
Lord, hear my plea,
I want to disappear.

God, please help me,
I don't know what to do.
God, please save me,
I only look to you.
