A Dieing Star
A twinkling star
Shining from afar
Mesmerizing luminous glow
It's distance, unable to know
Once shining so bright
The object of my delight
Watching as it fades
Into a sea of nothingness, it slowly wades
Watching with joy every night
Long since dead, the image in my sight
Now just a memory in my mind
It's silhouette, unable to find
