Treasure Island

A Different WAY?

There’s Only Way To Go
By Sea Or Air, Or By Snow
Whichever Way, You’ll Never Know
The Only Way, You Are To Go
Travel Far, You Travel Near
Take Heed You Are By Far
The Gamest One To Not Know Fear
No Matter Who Or Where You Are

Be Still My Silent Pet
I Love You, You Know That
The Cool Night Draws In Quickly
Draws And Breaks, Forever Sickly
The Candle Burns Out To An End
The Creature Looks With Open Eyes
What Messages Are We To Send
Communicate With Pseudo Lies
Run And Fail, Yet Once Again
Who Speaks With An Open Tongue
Fall, Get Up, And Then
His Neck Needs To Be Wrung
Ahh, I’m Back In Sync

With This I’ll Have A Drink
Sit Enjoy, Relax Right Back
Eat, Smoke And Try To Think
Deserve To Thus Repeat
Let’s Ask Her While She’s Running
She’s Very Agile On Her Feet
Deceptive And Quite Cunning
Unusual For This Time Of Year
A Little Early, Or Is It Late
By The Round Curves On Her Rear
Can I Afford To Hesitate
Duty Calls, I Must Report
Get Back To Empty Minds
Over Seas, I Will Resort
To Abstract, Strange, Delectable Kinds

Hey Wake Up, It’s Time To Go
Go And Find The Treasured Land
Grab The Dream, Go With The Flow
Come Back And Hold It In Your Hand
Confusion Flies, Let It Grind
Of Which Path I Am To Take
Maybe The One Here In My Mind
Whichever One, For Heaven’s Sake
Fate Be The Judge Of Us All
Whichever Way, A Different Way?
Fast Or Slow
The Way To Life, Big Or Small
There’s Only One Way To Go….

Poem of the Day

poet Henry David Thoreau

My books I'd fain cast off, I cannot read,
'Twixt every page my thoughts go stray at large
Down in the meadow, where is richer feed,
And will not mind to hit their proper targe.
