A Divine Imperative Poem by Alex Roth

A Divine Imperative

vomit demons through characters
and weave angels with syllables
remember to wonder through tundras
where blizzards and sand-storms roil
mandalas of abstract brilliance blaring
tones of time's face melting without wit-
nesses stoic as stone surrounding rivers
