I dreamed of you at dawn, my sweet;
Not uncommon for me to do.
When my early morning manhood
On this day arose to greet you,
I saw that secret lover’s smile,
That only your intimate knew.
You’d reveal to me your inmost joy,
Of love fulfilled, each time renewed.
A hushed reveal, ending in my arms;
Two souls, two bodies, deep and true.
We had it all, my precious love…
How I do so dearly miss you.
