I could not take it,
That was too much to bear
Thus I sought to oblige, nevertheless by following the tracks
Little did I know that the snarl, grunts and jump would be worthless
The smash was irreversible, a fait accompli indeed!
I could only wish it does not stay with me
And that I’m able to divorce it and let it fly and disappear out of my conscience
I see and reminisce about what could have happened
Tracing the spilt water the wound of the hidden sword worsened
The spoor and the spot of play hurting as the lacerations in my conscience
Two options in my view, to look back or not to look back
Just when I had decided to capitulate
I felt a blow of cool air clambering over me
Thus I heaved a big sigh of relief
For I know I have not lost the challenge but won it by one step forward
