A fallen leaf on the forest floor
Just one of a million, maybe more
Blending in, afraid you see
Of what someone might think of me
Though all different, and unique
I disguise myself, afraid to speak
Like a fallen leaf on the forest floor
Just one of a million, maybe more
Fear of ridicule and rejection
Camouflages me for protection
Avoiding any deep connection
Always fearful of detection
In a den of lions, I would growl
In a pack of wolves, I would howl
Always going with the flow
So no one would ever know....ME!
Like a fallen leaf on the forest floor
Just one of a million, maybe more.
