A Few Drops Fell Poem by Dean Meredith

A Few Drops Fell

Rating: 5.0

I don't want to
Discount anyone's pain
But bright sides still exist
If you're willing to find them

If not then I pity you
For hope gives us solace
For tomorrow's dreams
For our made-up meaning

Originality is not a sin
Quite the opposite
We own them better
When they're made by us

We feel around
For the right way
Fumble at times
It's quite romantic

Looking back
At the innocence
How lovely it was
Until the interruptions

Nature grows awkward
But close to perfect
Some room
For improvement

So beautiful
Don't you think?

I love the first stanza. That quatrain could stand as an excellent poem all by itself! Five stars for this!
