A Flood Surging Poem by Doris Cornago

A Flood Surging

I am the blood of my ancestors
Screaming for reconciliation
With distant pasts cast
In stone, immovable
Not a dribble
But more
Like
A
Flood
Surging
In streams
Not conquered
By threats or bullets
Coming into completion
Despite constant confusion
Who, what, why, what for is now

A Flood Surging

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Don't be confused if what you do matters at all. Of course, everything will have a repercussion in eternity. So, take a willfull step out of a productive thought. Express yourself, step out of the box. Be unique. Be you. Everything
leads to something more than you can imagine. No one can hold back a thought, much more, a flood of thoughts. It's in the blood, a compendium of blood shed in the past.: -)
