A Flower's Dream Poem by Omar Eldamsheety

A Flower's Dream

As a lovely young bird
in his first trial to fly
She moved her arms
to show her happiness

As a beautiful young girl
playing with her toy
She turned around herself
and gave the world a kiss

She looked at the mirror
and loudly asked herself
Is this a lovely dream
and it will end by the morning?

She looked through the window
her mind asked, what if?
Will he leave me alone?
annoying alarm started to ring

He has a poetic heart
He can't lie or hurt
She stopped that ring
and started a lovely song
