A Fork In The Road Poem by Valarie Paterson

As I walk down the street
I come across a fork in the road
I may choose left
O I may choose right

They both can change everything
They both mean so much
They're both so important

An unruly decision I must make
What might it be about?
Well none other then you

I have made my choice though
ans chose the road without you
and every step I take
My heart aches more

I would rather be friends
but it seems tha road
has bee blocked off

But is it too late
to make a u-turn
to just turn around
maybe to just go back
before this decision?
to make everything the same as before?
