A friend is someone, whom I considered to be my treasure,
The typical person who possess the true value of friendship,
It didn’t start the way I wanted to be,
Takes time to mold the relationship between the two of us.

I thought it wouldn’t work out from the start,
I know you’re an incredible person,
Blessed with qualities of every friend who wanted to have,
Just need time to prove that you’re worth it.

The day has come that you captured my attention,
I gave you the trust that is very rare for me to give to someone,
I believed that it’s not a waste of giving a part of me
You just don’t know how happy I am when you become a piece of my life.

We may have hurt and wounded each other,
I thought everything would be ruined,
You just squandered all those memories I brought together,
Yet you did something that melted my heart.

You did not let me down when you assured something,
The renewal of our friendship turns out to be spectacular,
Giving another chance is a risk,
But I know your words are real as you.

Enjoying the days we spend together,
Missing you when you’re far away from me,
I just want you to know that you’re not just a friend,
But a so-called affectionate sister I am wishing for.
