If you look closely you can see the methods to my madness,
But I can never see through the madness of life's methods,
When I look around I only see rage, hatred, and sadness,
Young people getting killed and others become meth heads,

This woman knocks on my door
She goes, 'Can you keep me company
Because I am extremely bored'
I nod then she tells me her name is Misery

You bicker and you fight in every way
And you always make up by the end of the day
Your friends say that it's just not right
But you can't stay away with all your might

I reach my hand out to help
But I always wind up getting hurt
