Uncaged And Dangerous Poem by Harrison Williams

Uncaged And Dangerous

Falling apart at the seams and nothing seems to hold me
Hungry like the wolf and nothing seems to sustain me
Can't keep it together, can't find the thing that I crave
So be wary don't approach me even if you're brave
'Cause I'm losing all civility and I'm going ballistic
You see this look in my eyes it means I'm animalistic
I think I know what I need and it means so much
What I honestly need is a truly loving touch
I'm not asking for a long speech and a full embrace
Just a few simple words and a gentle hand on my face
It may be the only thing that can slay this beast
Or at the very least this starving fiend will finally be policed.

We all want the comfort of human contact and that was expressed well in your poem, Harrison. Thanks for sharing
