A Hopeless Romantic 1 Poem by adam quinones

A Hopeless Romantic 1

Until I met you I was unaware
Of such a woman, so wonderful and fair
As the one I met; my first day there.

Your beauty took me by surprise,
As though the first sunlight, at mornings rise…
And dare I try to describe your eyes?

Like the glistening stars of nights sky!
They can make the toughest of men; timid and shy.
And from the beauty of her smile, Angels, They fly!

All I will ask is to be a friend,
for now that is all I truly intend.
To get to know you means more to me
Then trying to take us, from: them to we!
Give us time and then you'll see
Together one day, happily we'll be!
