A journey we all take,
As a weary travller who walks their way,
To the end which could be miles ahead,
Yet, we walk on.
We look forward to what lies onward,
But still we look back to see what we left behind,
And sometimes, we pause as if waiting for time,
Waiting for it to start again.
We try to walk the road,
Simply hoping,
We may stumble and scrape our knees,
But we carry on the journey with fainting hearts.
