A Lavender Rose

The stunning ethereal beauty of a Lavender Rose
The distinctive shades of light and captivating allure
The enchanting regal majesty, royalty and splendor
Grants us an unforgettable experience at a glimpse
Yet, this rare rose, with her famed beauty and ardor
Will stand in awe of your splendor and exquisiteness
Yours exudes more permanence than lavender roses

The Lord’s attendance shrouds His refulgence on you
With His visible glow on your character and personality
And the redolence of love, friendship and generosity
And as you seek your daily fulfillment in His presence
His glow and splendor will never grow dim on your face
And your smile will never lose her cheerfulness and love
May the Lord bless you and keep you in His loving embrace

poet James Whitcomb Riley

There! little girl; don't cry!
They have broken your doll, I know;
And your tea-set blue,
And your play-house, too,
Are things of the long ago;
