A Life Not Worth Living? Poem by Amanda Lukas

A Life Not Worth Living?

Rating: 3.1

A life not worth living, you say?
An unbelievable toll!
Talents not worth using
must mean songs not worth singing,
wings without flying,
paintings painted and never seen.

May the sun shine down upon you, my friend.
All hope please reinstate.
A talented being be brought back to us, oh Lord.

No life is made to be wasted.

Dedicated (with a dream of hope) to a fine poet.

Real inspirational poem. Life is always worth living. We can mke it worth even more by touching someone's heart.

Fine dedication to a certain poet which is worth as same as life.

Oh! I hope you will not let that friend slip away. Well, that isn't fair to say. Mine did, and I blamed myself and God and everyone else for a few years. But the truth is, the one who decides to end his own life bears sole responsibility for the action. Nevertheless... it is going to take more than a poem to stop the desperate plunge. Send out a bigger life preserver. Call a hotline- alert a relative- get your friend some help. Unless, of course, your hopeless friend is purely hypothetical...
