A Little Child Within Poem by Margo Reid

A Little Child Within

Rating: 5.0

I Really don’t know where to begin
But sometimes I feel like a little child within
A little child that wants to play
A little child that wants everything to be okay
But sometimes I feel so gloom
That I hide and stay in my room

Sometimes I have bad dreams
That makes me want to scream
Sometimes I stay in my room and sing
But then I heard the telephone ring
I wonder who’s calling at this time
And I wonder if the call is mine

Sometimes I just want to run
Just have a little fun
I want to play one, two, three red light
Or for once see a shooting star one night
I know that things are seldom as they seems
But I wish I could at least have one good dream
