A Lost Soul Poem by Momiji Halo

A Lost Soul

Rating: 5.0

In the night,
of a cold December day,
A little girl wondered,
weakened and betrayed.

A painful day,
as it turns into night,
becomes her paradise,
Until the morning light.

Beaten until she learns,
a lesson that must be taught,
to keep her mouth shut,
to be bought.

Lost all love,
emotion,
thoughts,
yet keeps the pain.

She has been gone,
forced out of childhood,
and into the world of adults,
by the call of motherhood.

All that's left is the lost little girl,
pain in her mind, body, and life
will anyone come and save,
The girl whose soul has no energy to fight?
